Effective August 24, 2026. This draft explains how Shaka Time, Inc., operating YAZUZ, handles information through the website, YAZUZ Chat, and related merchant services.
Information we process
Merchant and store information
Store domain, installation and authorization records, merchant configuration, support communications, plan status, and permitted catalog information needed to provide the service.
Conversation and usage information
Shopper messages, assistant responses, technical status, privacy-safe events, credit records, and optional survey responses.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure YAZUZ, answer store-related questions, operate merchant controls, measure performance and usage, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
AI and service providers
YAZUZ may send the minimum information needed to authorized hosting, database, analytics, communications, Shopify, and AI service providers. Merchant credentials and backend secrets are not intentionally exposed in public WordPress pages or storefront scripts.
Store separation
Merchant settings, catalog access, conversations, events, credits, and survey records are scoped by store. YAZUZ does not intentionally use one merchant’s private store data to answer another merchant’s shoppers.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, support, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes. Retention may vary by data type and plan.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Merchants may change available settings, disable optional features, uninstall the app, and request support concerning their information. Individuals may have additional rights depending on location.
Children
YAZUZ is a merchant service and is not directed to children under 13.
